Independent arrival at your hotel in Parma. Dinner at restaurant nearby the hotel to start tasting the famous cuisine of the area.
DAY 2 – (b/l/o)
Breakfast, depart in the morning with private car and private English speaking guide to discover how the parmesan cheese is made and to taste this famous cheese in the world.
After the visit, transfer to the Antica Corte Pallavicina to visit the medieval cellars where the “culatello di zibello” dop is aged (a very special ham that needs a special procedure before being ready).
Lunch will be served after the visit.
In the afternoon visit of the areas where Giuseppe Verdi lived and composed his best operas, and visit of his villa. Back to Parma and overnight.
DAY 3 – (b/l/o)
Breakfast, meet your private English speaking guide at the hotel and discover the beauty of the historical center with a nice walking through the ancient Parma.
After the visit depart with the guide and by private car to see how the famous Parma ham is made.
Visit and lunch at the prosciuttificio included.
In the afternoon visit of the magnificent castle of Torrechiara. Back to Parma and overnight.
DAY 4 – (b/o)
Depart to Modena with private car and private english speaking guide to visit an acetaia where the vinegar is producted.
Then transfer to Maranello and visit of the famous museum of the Ferrari.
Back to Parma – afternoon free – overnight
Breakfast, transfer to bologna by private car with guide and visit of bologna with some stops to taste in the old “botteghe” (gastronomic shops) the typical gastronomy of the area.
End of services in Bologna.
